the word fukkatsu translates toresurrection while the letter f is an abbreviation for freeza.... which translates the title: resurrection of freeza or freeza's resurrection. now i know this may come as a bit of asurprise especially if some of you are... familiar with the way things work in thedbz universe... but the gist of this film's going to revolvearound a bad wish further indicating... that it will show how freeza'sresurrected. the rules and stipulations state that inorder for one to be brought back... with the dragon balls it has to be lessthan a year since their passing...
so how will this play out? i have afeeling that akira toriyama will write out... a good explanation. when news of freeza's resurrection hitearlier this year.... toriyama stated that this issomething that he intended to write in... the dragon ball manga. so he's probably taking a great dealtime to give us an awesome story. judging from the theatrical poster this will bea direct follow-up to 2013's battle of gods. it features goku, vegeta, the god of destruction beerus,... whis, freeza, piccolo, krillin, and twonewly introduced characters sorbet..
and tegoma. the two new villains aredesigned by toriyama himself... and will play a role in resurrecting freeza.the article states that remnants of freeza sorbet and tegome arrive on earth. their goal is to revive freeza with thedragon balls. their dastardly wish is granted... and plans to take revenge against thesaiyans is revived. so based off the plan... it seems the freeza still hascolleagues in low places. although it's been 12 years since hispassing, they're still planning to avenge his death as you can see sorbet being the short,intellectual type to your left... and tegoma being the tall limberbuilt warrior to you right...
look like they're gonna be poised tocomplete their objective and they look... like they'll be some heavy hitters. i would also like to point out toriyama's design... on their newly stylized saiyan armor and scouters. the equipment looks different from other saiyan armor iterations, from the shoulder armor to the scouters. as you can see tegoma seems to besporting a scouter with dual earphones... and full visor covering both eyes. there's nointel on what features this new scouter... includes but you can rest assured thati'll be on the lookout for any information. since we're on the topicattire...
i would like to take a closer look at gokuand vegeta's outfits from the theatrical poster. although we don't have a full body viewall the saiyan duo... we can somewhat see that they're notwearing their usual get-ups. based on past instances in the dragonball z film universe.... i thought this film would follow asimilar style and have the z warriors... sporting their classic outfits to giveof a sort of anniversary salute to longtime fans. you've seen this done in yo son goku andin his friends return... and in battle of gods but goku isn't wearinghis kaio brand gi... and vegeta isn't even sporting the standardmodel saiyan armor.
if you look closely at goku... he's wearing a red gi without his usualblue undershirt. this isn't anything new... since we've seen him sport this look in thedragon ball series... and in the saiyan saga in his battlewith raditz. so there's not much of a drastic change,... but the most noticeable thing that iwould like to point out is the unfamiliar... symbol on his chest. just what exactly does it mean? couldthis be a symbol that belongs to a... martial arts master who goku has trainedunder... such as beerus or whis? because we'veseen him take on the hermit stamp after...
