hey guys. so gotham which is one of the best shows,if not the best show on fox right now is getting ready for season three and they just madea major change. [music plays] if you watch it you know that one of the thingsthat makes the show so successful is that the writers really take the time to developeach character and give them some depth and make them interesting and i get that its anorigin story so a lot of the characters are younger than we typically see them in theprevious batman shows and movies, but one of the things that hasn't sat quite rightwith me in watching the series is that poison
ivy is so young because her power comes fromthe fact that she harnesses her charms among other things and uses her sexuality as a weaponand you can't really do that with the actress that's been playing her thus far in the showbecause she's too young and that would be weird and not ok. but, as we've already heard that the characterof ivy is going to go through a drastic change in season 3 and were going to get an older, sexierversion of the character who’s been recast and will now be played by the lovely maggiegeha and it's explained by the fact that poison ivy has a run-in with a monster from indianhill and through a series of events she's reborn 14 years older.
here we have our first look at maggie as thenew ivy. i definitely think that the producers madethe right choice with this one, no offense to clare foley, the 14 year old actress, whohas played ivy in the first two seasons. she's done a magnificent job so far with thescreen time she's had. i just think that maggie geha is the appropriateage play posion ivy with all the stregnth and sexuality that you typically associatewith her character. let me know what you think about the changeand don't forget to hit that subscribe button for more movie and tv news. i'm marc rose and that's whats rockin!
